Transitioning from middle school to high school is a big step — academically, socially, and emotionally. Our psychotherapy group for girls provides a safe, supportive space to build the skills and confidence needed for that change.
Why join this group?
Peer support: Girls meet others facing the same challenges, reducing isolation and normalizing their feelings.
Practical skills: Sessions focus on stress management, study habits, communication, boundary-setting, and coping with social pressures.
Emotional resilience: Activities and therapeutic guidance help girls process identity shifts, increase self-esteem, and manage anxiety or mood changes.
Experienced clinicians: Groups are led by a marriage and family therapist trainee who is supervised by a licensed therapist experienced in adolescent development and school transitions.
Small, confidential groups: Limited group size ensures each girl is heard and supported in a private, respectful environment.
